Commission the brief
Fennel & Anvil is a content and SEO studio at 1265 Santa Cruz Ave. in Menlo Park, California, serving early-stage B2B software companies. For one fixed fee per 90-day sprint we plan, write, and optimize the articles, comparison pages, and landing pages your buyers consult before they ever speak to sales.
Every engagement is quoted as a single fixed fee. Hours are not tracked, scope is not renegotiated mid-sprint, and the invoice has one line.

The fee covers everything inside the sprint: strategy, six articles, on-page optimization, one revision round per article, and the report. It is set before kickoff and does not move.
It excludes paid distribution, custom illustration, and product screenshots, which you supply. Anything outside the sprint is quoted separately in writing before work begins.
Before a word is drafted, the writer sits through a 60-minute product walkthrough and reads your documentation and recorded sales calls. Each draft cites your own material where it can.
A subject-matter review by someone on your team is built into the calendar at week five. Corrections made there carry into every article that follows.
New pages on a young domain are indexed within days and tend to climb over months, not weeks. We do not promise a position, and we do not report vanity figures.
The day-90 report shows what is measurable at that point: indexed URLs, impressions and clicks by page, and ranking positions for each target term, with a written reading of what to do next.
A keyword map ranks the queries your buyers actually type before anything is drafted, so the calendar answers to demand rather than to mood.
days to a finished sprint: six articles published, a report on your desk.
Every sprint ends with measured results, so the decision to continue rests on evidence, not on hope or a standing retainer.

Every sprint is drafted by one named writer and read by a second editor before it reaches you. The studio keeps a written style manual, and each article is checked against it line by line.
Half the fee at kickoff, half at week seven, by ACH or card. You own every word, on final payment.
Sprints begin on the first Monday of each month. Each one is staffed by the same two editors from the first call to the last report.
Four stages, one calendar, fixed at kickoff. You will always know what is on the bench and when it leaves.
We read your docs and sales calls, then map the queries your buyers type into clusters, ranked by difficulty against your domain as it stands today.
